Yahoo! Auctions in Singapore will be retiring. OMG! This is quite a loss for sellers like me who sells items thru this service. I'm sure a lot of small / big online business owners and young entrepeneurs in Singapore will be devastated & greatly affected by this. I had enjoyed my time listing things for auction there. Well ... can't do anymore and there's nothing I can do about it . Now I hope a good auction site can replace it somehow.

For people out there who has not seen the announcement of Yahoo , please read the message below :

After careful consideration, we have decided to close the Yahoo! Auctions site in Singapore to better serve our valued customers through other Yahoo! properties. Starting October 6th, 2008 Yahoo! Auctions will be closed to users in Singapore.

Yahoo! Auctions in Singapore transition timeline:

The last day to list an item for sale is September 1, 2008
The last day to bid on or buy an item is September 21, 2008
The last day to access remaining site tools such as My Account is October 6, 2008
